Vintage Art Deco Wood Mounted Rands 8 Day Swiss Mantelpiece Clock

This is quite an unusual Vintage Art Deco Wood Mounted Rands 8 Day Swiss Mantelpiece Clock.

The 8-day clock is in fair vintage working condition. The time keeping has not been calibrated and, in a time piece of this vintage, we would always recommend that it is serviced professionally.

Approximate Maximum Dimensions

• Clock Diameter including silver/chrome bezel: ~ 8cm
• Overall Height: ~ 19cm
• Overall depth: ~6.2cm
• Overall width: ~26cm

Condition

• The silver clock dial mount is pitted
• Black numerals and hands are in good condition.
• Mounted in a solid Art Deco oak block with inlay, which is scuffed and blemished.
• Some of the inlaid wood decoration and wood surround is missing and/or damaged
• Glass dial cover is slightly scratched

We've had this clock in the family for over 40 years but we've no longer got the time to give it the love and attention it needs to bring it back to pristine condition. 

The photos have been taken with and without flash, hence the colour differences. The wood surround is quite dark in colour.
