Vintage Abbirko / Envit Envivent Electronic Anemometer in Its Original Case With Accessories
This wonderful looking scientific instrument is a 1960s Vintage Abbirko / Envit Envivent Electronic Anemometer in Its Original Case With Accessories. Made by Envit Ltd, Merthyr Tydfil, Mid-Glamorgan, and Abbirko Instruments Ltd.
The polished steel air meter is in very good cosmetic and working condition but I can't attest as to its accuracy. There are a few surface scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use.
The small chrome anemometer has 8 vanes and connects to the battery powered Abbirko electronic metre with three scales 0-5, 0-15, 0-1.5 m/sec.
Approximate Size:
- Anemometer diameter: 6.8cm
- Depth: 4.4 cm
- Height: 12.5 cm (excluding pole)
It comes with a ground pole/rod split into sections which screw together, plug connectors and lead, a carry case and strapping. A correction chart for all three scales is stuck to the inside of the case lid. A very useful instrument for wind/air speed /air flow measurements.
A very high quality measuring instrument for the industrial ephemera and meteorological instrument collector.
