Vintage 4 Volt SEL Electric Motor No. 1260/RS

This Vintage 4 Volt SEL Electric Motor No. 1260/RS was made by Signalling Equipment Limited (SEL).

The Electric Motor has never been used and is in very good condition, with some rusting of the metal.

A useful motor e.g. for Model Steam Engines including; Meccano/Mamod/Wilesco. It dates to the 1930s/40s, as seen in the attached image of an advert from a 1930s Meccano magazine.

WHD:  7.7 cm (3") x 6.4 cm x 6.4 cm

The original cardboard box is slightly grubby with tears.
