Vintage 25 Ohm British Military Microphone Transformer NATO No. 5835-99-943-7003

This is a Vintage 25 Ohm British Military Microphone Transformer NATO No. 5835-99-943-7003 dating to about the 1960s. 

There doesn't seem to be a maker's mark but many of these types of microphone accessory were made by Ferrograph. In very good cosmetic condition, the grey microphone transformer has both a socket and a short lead with the end removed.

where -99- is the NATO code for the UK and 5835 for Sound Recording and Reproducing Equipment

An impedance of 25 Ohms is fairly typical for British military moving-coil or ribbon microphones used in high-noise environments.

A fantastic collectible artefact for all collectors of Militaria and amateur radio enthusiasts.
