Vintage 1960s Gossen Lunasix Battery Light Exposure Meter
This is a very nice Vintage 1960s Gossen Lunasix Battery Light Exposure Meter with original hard clamshell case.
Although it did respond to light, until the original battery recently died, I'm not sure how accurate it is ...
This high quality mechancial device does not have a selenium meter but a CdS light cell. It required a 1.35v Mallory PX13 coin type battery, which are no longer available to buy due to their toxicity, but can be replaced in this original version of the Lunasix (not the Lunasix 3) with a Wein Cell MRB625.
Made from grey and clear plastic, and sold with the original cream hard case. The exposure meter is in very good condition, slightly scuffed and marked; commensurate with age and use.
Approximate measurements (Exposure meter case) WHD: 12 x 4.5 x 8.5 cm
Dating to the early 1960s, Made by Gossen, West Germany.
A great little gizmo to use with your vintage cameras
