This Vintage 13 Inch Circular Glass Fruit Dish Table Decoration By Luxhem De Veropa is made from pressed / cast glass and is absolutely beautiful.
With scalloped edges and a deeply etched pattern, it really catches the light. The bowl is etched France and 3 on the base. I think the pattern is Moldavia and dates to the 1970s.
The glass rim is quite thick, 0.5cm, and the dish is pretty heavy, hence the high shipping cost!
It is in good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. There are a few minor blemishes which can only be seen on close inspection.

It belonged to my Great Aunt, whom passed away in the 1990s aged 88. She always used it as a fruit bowl standing in the centre of her large oak dining table, with another smaller glass fruit bowl on her sideboard. Having sat on my table for nearly 30 years, we've now moved so its time to give this lovely dish a new lease of life and find its for ever home.
A wonderful design, which looks good with or without fruit!
