T1154 Radio Type 217 Microphone Plug 10H/451 and Cable 10HA/2780

A Lancaster Bomber, WW2 RAF Air Ministry, T1154 Radio Type 217 Microphone Plug 10H/451 and Cable 10HA/2780.

Unissued, and in excellent cosmetic condition, the braided silver coloured cable is attached to a 2-pin bakelite connector marked with the AM symbol, Type 217, and 10H/451. It still has its original stores paper label marked:-

10HA/2780, Connector, Type 2384/3. QYT.1

• 10HA/2780 where 10HA is the RAF stores number for Radio (Wireless and Radar) Connectors, Cords Instrument and Leads

It would have been mounted on the T1154 transmitter, located next to the radio operator, on a Lancaster Bomber.
