This is a very nice Swineside Teapottery Retro Television Novelty Pottery Teapot New Old Stock.

Cream in colour and stylised as a retro CRT television, it has a print of the old BBC test card on the face. The lid is the aerial complete with two antenna!

In excellent boxed condition, with no chips, restoration work or cracks. It does have some superficial manufacturing defects, and the teapot lid isn't a great fit.

Swineside Teapottery are based in Leyburn, North Yorkshire, and are now known as Ceramic Inspirations. They produce all sorts of novelty and kitsch teapots, many of which are highly collectible and command high prices.
