Solido Model Car Reedition 1959 Panhard DB Le Mans 1/43 scale #50

This is an unused Solido Model Car Reedition 1959 Panhard DB 1/43 scale #50, reference 1107, in very good condition.

An authentic reproduction of the original model, which is now over twenty years old and vintage in its own right! It would be great for model vehicle collectors or for use as a desk ornament. Not suitable for young children.

Condition:

A very good condition car, with the original Solido cardboard box but without the outer blister pack.

The car driver helmet has lost a a tiny amount of red paint, and there is a very faint scuff mark to the top of the front side passenger wing where it has been in contact with the outer blister pack.

The cardboard box is slightly creased.

Solido was originally established in 1930. It is a French manufacturer of die-cast model cars and trucks based in Oulins, Anet, France, about 40 miles west of Paris. Vehicles are usually made of zamac alloy in varying scales, but mostly 1:43.

Zamac is an acronym of the initials of the family of metals within the alloy.  The base metal is Zinc, with alloying elements of Aluminium, Magnesium, and Copper.
