Bristol delft ware patterns date back to the 1650s but there is some argument as to when The Bristol Pottery Company was established, either 1652 or 1683. Bristol pottery continued to make delft ware up to the 20th Century but were also known for their Queens ware and, from 1938, lithographic transfers.
