A Preowned Yale BS3621 Insurance Brass Deadlock Night Latch. Brand New Old Stock it is in pretty good condition with some storage scuffs and blemishes. I think this is a 40mm Backset version.

Bought as a door lock / secure night latch for a wood front door in the early 2000s, this is a hefty, and heavy, piece of door furniture which never got fitted as we changed the door instead!

I'm afraid I don't quite understand which dimensions are important when fitting the lock so please take a look at the approximate sizes in the schematic provided...

It is sold as seen with a few fitments but without a box or fitting instructions. It could possibly be a replacement for an existing 'old' Yale deadlock. The dimensions of the lock are slightly different from the more modern Yale versions.

• Based on the PBS2 Yale Night Latch, the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole is ~ 40mm

  • Dark red snib function allows the latch to be held back
