This interesting Post Office Multirange Meter Model 12C/1 Includes Leather Case & Leads.

The meter is in pretty good condition, with a chip in the base. The toughened leather case is well worn with several black scorch marks!

Please note: Needs an R6 (AA) 1.5v and No.35 15v dry batteries, which are not supplied as shipping items containing batteries is now prohibited by most couriers.

The previous owner of this multimeter used it to diagnose faults at the GPO exchange and on customer lines. Some of the damage to the meter and case occurred when it was dropped from the top of a telegraph pole and in being too close to a heat source!
