Lesney Matchbox Model Of Yesteryear Train Y-14: 1903 Duke Of Connaught Locomotive

This wonderful little toy is a very nice Lesney Matchbox Model Of Yesteryear Train Y-14: 1903 Duke Of Connaught Locomotive. It dates to the early 1960s.

Condition: The model is unboxed but in fairly good cosmetic condition. There are a few surface blemishes and some loss of paint. It might benefit from a gentle clean.

Material: Diecast Metal

Colour/Type:

• Dark green body and cab with a brown chassis. The base plate is black and the wheels are unpainted bare metal. 
• Parts of the train are trimmed in gold including the chimney top, safety valve, parts of the axle bolts and walkway boxes. Much of the trim has worn away.

Model: 14. Introduced in 1959 and retired in 1964.

Size: approximately 7.5 cm length (3")
