Large Vintage Industrial Electric Metal Bell / Alarm

This Large Vintage Industrial Electric Metal Bell / Alarm has proven to be a bit of mystery.  I can't find another like it and I'm not sure what it was originally used for. Possible uses could include a Fire Alarm bell or Telephone Bell.

In great condition, it doesn't seem to have actually seen any use.

• Width: 26 cm
• Height: 17 cm
• Depth: 15 cm

It does have a maker's logo, which could be a stylised HF or FH, and has a Karro 8.8 bolt. This may signify that it is German in origin.

It's pretty heavy with an unpacked weight of 4.7 Kg!  A great collectible for those whom love industrial design and artefacts.
