Eschenbach Max Detail x2 Magnification Eyeglasses / Spectacles 

This interesting piece of eye wear is a pair of preowned Eschenbach Max Detail x2 Magnification Eyeglasses / Spectacles. 

With pale grey frames and two pairs of clear lenses, these eyeglasses make text twice as large and are great for hands free close up work and hobbies e.g. crossword puzzles, crafts and reading.

They are in excellent barely used condition and were made by Eschenbach, a premier German manufacturer of telescopes, binoculars and visual aids for the visually impaired. These types of eyeglass magnifiers can be bought new for over £120, we are offering this pair for significantly less!

They were bought for my visually impaired mother-in-law to enable her to see her knitting more clearly. They work fine but she found them too heavy for the bridge of her nose and only wore them twice!

• Aspheric PXM^® (thinner and flatter) lightweight lens for a distortion-free image with edge-to-edge sharpness.
• Dioptre compensation: ±3 dpt, right/left can be separately adjusted, cylinder correction not possible.
• Distance between frame edges: 14cm
• Focal Range: working distance approx. 40cm
• Pupillary Distance (PD) Range: 60-68 mm which can be locked in place via the two screws on the adjustable frame. I would check the distance between your pupils prior to purchase to ensure that they are suitable for you.
• Weight: 49 grammes
• Cold bend wire-core temples to allow adjustment.
