Vintage Crabtree Brass / Brown Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch 

For all collectors of period homewares or Architectural salvage, we have a genuine Vintage Crabtree Brass / Brown Ceramic British Toggle Light Switch. It dates to about the 1930s.

The face is brass and the back is brown ceramic/porcelain.

Base Diameter: 5.8 cm
Approximate height (base to tip of switch): 4 cm

It is in reasonably good vintage condition. There are a few scuffs on the surface, and the brass is discoloured but may benefit from a careful polish. Someone has painted a wall with the switch in situ: the paint can be removed with a finger nail.

The switch is not up to current IEE regulations. It has not been restored or tested, and is sold as a collector’s item only.
