Bauhaus ESC Czechoslovakian Bakelite Table Lamp
This Art Deco lamp is a, small, Bauhaus Type 11641 ESC Czechoslovakian Bakelite Table Lamp. It comprises a cream bakelite shade and body with green accent.

Designed in the 1930s by the Bauhaus team. It was made by Elektrosvit in the former Czechoslovakia, now Czech Republic, an important international player in the field of lighting.
ESC also produced lamps designed by E.K. Cole of Ekco fame.
Steel rings allow the shade to be clamped directly on the bulb. The shade can be orientated in different directions. The lamp can be wall mounted if preferred.
Perfect for that small desk or for use as accent lighting in a confined space. It can also be wall hung from a picture hook! It has been rewired with complementary braided green wire and is working beautifully.
A modern LED light bulb gives the lamp a very retro feel and makes the whole ensemble energy efficient. The bulb is included.
The cream plastic switch is located on the main body of the lamp and is pressed to switch the lamp on/off. The lamp has been electrically tested via a calibrated PAT (portable appliance test) tester.
In good condition, with some surface blemishes and discolouration/flecks of brown commensurate with age and use.
