This is a gorgeous Antique Edwardian Lovatt Pottery 3-Pint Teapot / Coffee Pot.
It is quite a heavy stoneware 3-Pint Pot, brown in colour, with a Leadless glaze. The top half of the pot is smooth and glossy, and the bottom half is embossed and matt. A wonderfully simple but effective Art Nouveau design!
In good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. It does have some manufacturing defects e.g. air bubbles.

The teapot was made by Lovatt and Lovatt in 1908. Lovatt were based at Langley Mill Pottery, Derbyshire, England. The company was founded in 1895, previously known as Calvert and Lovatt, and went through several owners before becoming part of Joseph Bourne & Son’s Denby Pottery in 1959. The factory finally closed in 1982.
A wonderful collector’s item or statement piece for afternoon tea for four!
