This is a very nice 2008 Longines Tourneau Legend Diver Automatic Watch. Boxed With Paperwork.

This  type of Longines was only made between 2007 and discontinued in 2011/12.  A reissue of the famous Longines dive watch of the 1960s, having a Super Compressor case with twin crowns.

This example is the ‘no-date’ version. Interestingly, the case has a matt finish almost as if titanium; even though the back states all stainless steel. We have sought the opinion of an expert who has suggested that this may be one of a series of watch prototypes, which may have been offered on limited sale.

This watch is in perfect working order. However, the top crown, which operates the internal bezel, is loose as the stem has broken. Hence, the internal bezel does not rotate. The crown still screws down and there is no visible manifestation of this fault from the outside.

• Bezel: Inner rotating 60 minute, operated by separate crown at 2 o’clock. Not operational due to snapped stem.

• Dial: Black colour. Luminous (radiation-free Super-LumiNova) numerals and hour markers.
• Hands: Steel color. Super-LumiNova radiation-free luminous filled.
• Case Back: Screw-down style (threaded). “Legend Diver” logo.
• Strap/Band: Original Black Brady Sail Cloth Strap included. Currently fitted with a black leather strap
• Frequency: 28800 bph
• Clasp: Traditional tang style. Factory Logo engraved/embossed.
• Water Resistance: 300m/984ft (not tested- may be compromised by broken stem)
• Case Size: 42.00mm diameter. 14.00mm depth. Lug to lug 52mm
