1963 KB Kolster Brandes Rhapsody De Luxe Transistor Super 8 Radio In Blue

This lovely portable 1963 KB Kolster Brandes Transistor Radio Rhapsody De Luxe Super 8 VP31 In Blue is in good cosmetic and working condition. It only supports two wavebands, Medium Wave (MW) and Long Wave (LW).

The radio body is made of wood and covered with blue vinyl, and the carry handle is made from PVC. The back of the radio can be detached to see the internal workings and to fit the 9 volt PP11 battery; which is not included due to the problems with shipping anything containing batteries.

As you might expect for a 60-year old radio, there are a few surface scuffs and blemishes, the white plastic has slightly yellowed with age, the KB badge has faded, and the top of the 'd' is missing from 'deluxe.' It is still in pretty good condition for its age.
