This 1960s Roberts Green R300 Transistor Portable Radio is a six transistor radio, and covers the Medium and Long Wavebands.

Approximate Measurements
- Height: 15cm
- Width: 23cm
- Depth: 11cm
Unlike the retro modern Roberts Revivals, this radio is the original transistor version and not a DAB digital.
The Roberts R300 was introduced in 1964 and was Made in England.
Fully checked, cleaned and serviced, and in working order on both wavebands (MW/LW), as well as being in pretty good cosmetic condition. There are a few scuffs, blemishes and discolouration commensurate with age and use. The back is very slightly warped but will close with some gentle encouragement...
It is complete with its original knobs with shiny brass inserts, and Roberts badge. There are a few marks in the grille but no major dents.
Battery box is clean with no sign of any spills or rust.
Reliable, chic stylish and a style icon, this beautiful radio would be a welcome addition to any radio collection or as a period statement piece home accessory.
Requires a 9 Volt PP9 battery (not supplied).
