A 1956 RAF Circuit Testers Wood Storage Box 5G/310 Without Contents. In pretty good condition with scuffs and surface blemishes commensurate with age and storage. The hinges and clasp are slightly rusty, and the leather handle is in good condition.

It would have contained a set of eight type B 24V circuit testers. The contents have long gone as the felt lined box proved useful for storing small thermionic valves instead!

The outside of the grey box is stencilled 5G/310 and the inside 5G/192 where 5G is the RAF stores number for Special Ground Equipment.
