1950s William Younger's Tartan Beer Advertising Figurine

This is a 1950s William Younger's Tartan Beer Advertising Figurine. They are becoming quite rare and, in good condition, can command values in excess of £80.

We are selling this one for considerably less as it is in poor condition. It would still make a great display item since he is so colourful and jolly in his top hat and yellow tartan trousers/trews with red waistcoat and black jacket!

Approximate Height:  22cm

Poor Mr Younger is missing:-

• His right hand with its pint of beer 
• His walking stick from his left hand
• And Paint from his rear end

He has:-

• Broken steel rimmed glasses
• and most of the remaining paint is flaking

I believe it is made from Vulcanised rubber and is hand painted. His condition could probably be improved by someone with good craft skills, which isn't me...
