1950s Robot Star 35mm Film Camera D156207 Made By Berning Germany

This is a lovely example of a 1950s Robot Star 35mm Film Camera D156207 Made By Berning Germany. The Robot Star badge at the front of the camera seems to have detached. 

The Robot Star first went into production in 1952. It is a fully clockwork mechanical camera that uses 35mm film to shoot 24 x 24mm square images. The shutter speed range of 1/500 to 1/2 second is set by a rotary knob, and the shutter button appears to be working. There is also an external flash mode-not tested. 

The camera is supposed to be compatible with the following lenses (not included):-

• f/1,9 40mm Xenor
• f/2.8 37.5mm Xenar
• f/3.5 38mm Radionar
• f/3.5 75mm Tele Lens

In pretty good condition with surface scuffs and blemishes commensurate with age and use (see images).
