1950s Lustraphone Model LD/61 Lustrette Dynamic Desk Microphone
This is a very nice looking, vintage, white plastic (Bakelite), 1950s Lustraphone Model LD/61 Lustrette Dynamic Desk Microphone in its original cardboard box.
A table top omnidirectional design, which was small enough for home use. You can see it in the attached 1950s advert for Lustraphone microphones, as indicated by the arrow.
This one is in pretty good cosmetic condition with some surface blemishes. The maker's label is missing from the middle of the microphone and one of the rubber feet is also missing from the base. The cardboard box is intact but is showing its age, with scuffs, scratches, tears, and a crush on one side.
It is fitted with a coaxial connector (Belling TV connector) and lead. It is in working condition. A bit of communications history for your shack!
Approximate Size
