1950s Jet Aircraft Twin Navigation Lamp NATO Number 5340-99-952-8730

This is an unusual 1950s Jet Aircraft Twin Navigation Lamp NATO Number 5340-99-952-8730. In very good cosmetic condition, it hasn't been tested but looks to have never been used.

I know very little about it, despite it having a NATO parts number stencilled on the bracket:-

5340-99-952-8730

The FSGC number 5340 refers to 'Hardware' and '99' is the designation for the UK.

The rubber is also embossed 'FLEXO,' which I think refers to the Art Speciality Company, lamp makers based in Chicago USA!
