This lovely looking object is a 1950s Bedford Stentorian Baffle Low Impedance Loudspeaker By Whiteley Boneham of Mansfield, Nottingham, UK.
It was sold without a transformer but was fitted with an Alcomax magnet to provide a decent volume.
Its small size allowed it to sit neatly on a table top or shelf. The volume is controlled by a brown Bakelite knob on the side of the case.
In very good original condition with a few minor marks on the body.
