1950s Arthur Wood Pottery Clifton 644 Hand Painted Floral Jug

This Large, Vintage, 1950s Arthur Wood Pottery Clifton 644 Hand Painted Floral Jug was manufactured in Staffordshire, England. 

Made post 1954, the ribbed body has a pale yellow background with beautifully hand-painted chrysanthemum style flowers in purple, orange and yellow. 

It is in good condition, with no restoration work, cracks, or chips. There is some crazing and slight loss of some of the silver gilding around the base, neck and handle.

Maximum Approximate Dimensions: 

• Base Diameter 10 cm
• Height ~ 24cm

A wonderful design which looks good on its own or with flowers!
