We have available this lovely, Art Deco, 1940s Vintage Kosy Kraft Insulated Egg Cups Boxed Pair. Chrome plated, insulated, with a cream bakelite lid and base.

The egg cups comprise a felt-lined chrome plated insulating casing with a slide-on lid. In good condition with only minor surface marks on the chrome.
The Bakelite knobs are tights fitting, but the thermal lining is only present in the base and not the lid but is clean and intact.
The lid on one of the cups is a bit loose when put together.
The box is slightly discoloured with surface scuffs and blemishes commensurate with years of storage, and there is creasing and a few tears at the corners.

At the time these were a very innovative design. Perfect for serving, and keeping warm, boiled eggs as a breakfast treat or for afternoon tea.
