This Vintage 1940s Velos Bakelite Airtite Tobacco Barrel No.1356 is an interesting design, and the perfect addition to a vintage office desk!

A lovely stylish piece of Art Deco office ware and tobacciana which would have been used as a humidor or for storing tobacco or pens and pencils. The lid screws on/off.

In very good condition with some scuffs and surface blemishes commensurate with age and use. 

Designed by Rees, Pitchford & Co, of 72-74 Victoria Street, London, UK, under the trade name Velos. This short-lived company was best known for its office equipment.
