1940s Military R209 Radio Reception Set Telegraftropperns SMB Station Made By Philips for the Dutch Army. This is a Mk1 R209. It's very heavy, hence the high shipping cost...
Designed in the last year of WW2, the Mk I R209 was actually introduced in 1946 and superseded by the Mk 2 in 1953. This type of receiver was used by both the British and Dutch Armies.
In fairly good original but in untested, for display only, condition. The outer case has scuffs, blemishes and scratches: it is sold without a plug.
