This is a quite rare, Royal Navy, WW2 1940s Admiralty Pattern 1271 Buzzer Repeater And Key Unit Group 11 No.2 MK II WT 8 Amp WER 12705.
So called as, on receiving a message on the ship's radio, it would flash a light, buzz via the earphone or send morse code via the incorporated morse key.
In fairly good condition with a few scratches and surface blemishes, particularly on the bakelite knob. It is missing its miniature bulb, which I think is a B15 bayonet fitting and indicator lamp style.
