This is a lovely 1938 Cigarette Card Album Military Uniforms Of The British Empire Overseas by cigarette manufacturers, John Player & Sons, a subsidiary of the Imperial Tobacco Company.
A piece of military history showing the various uniforms of the various members of, what was then, the British Empire and colonies and as such is non-P.C...
This is an original complete album comprising a series of 50 cigarette cards, all with useful descriptions in the accompanying pamphlet. It was issued just before the outbreak of WW2.

- Card: 6.8 x 3.5 cm
The cards are in good condition with some slight discolouration. The album covers are scuffed and foxed with creasing and tears. The front and back covers are present but detached.
A must-have collectors item for the military historian!
