1937 Albert Pernet Paris 1000 Ohm Telephone Twin Bell Ringer Box. In Working Condition

This lovely looking piece of vintage home decor is a 1937 Albert Pernet Paris 1000 Ohm Telephone Twin Bell Ringer Box. In Working Condition, with a measured output of 1000 ohms at low voltage, it would need wiring by a qualified electrician as it probably doesn't meet modern IEE standards

Manufactured by Albert Pernet et Fils, Paris, the bells are made from steel and the internal mechanism fits inside a wooden surround.  In pretty good condition, the steel gongs are quite rusty and the wood bell box has surface scuffs and blemishes. I haven't been tempted to polish it as some people prefer to see the patina.
