This is a beautiful 1937 1 Pint Cardinal Plate Silver Tankard Drinks Measure By Goldsmiths, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England.
The surface is Electroplated Silver, probably EPNS, and made by The Northern Goldsmiths founded in 1892 by Thomas Cooke. The base is marked Cardinal Plate, hard soldered. Cardinal Plate is a trademark of Goldsmiths, which is now better known as a Jewellers.

It is in good vintage condition but has surface scratches and blemishes commensurate with age and use. There are one or two small dents which don't show up well in the photographs. The inside is blemished and discoloured.
