1934 Vintage CEB Ferranti AC Test Set Comprising A Voltmeter & Ammeter In A Bakelite Case

This nice scientific curio is a 1934 CEB Ferranti AC Test Set Comprising A Voltmeter & Ammeter In A Bakelite Case. Made by Ferranti Ltd and in use at the Central Electricity Board (CEB) SWE & SW Bristol.

In pretty good cosmetic condition with a few surface scuffs and blemishes commensurate with age and use. It hasn't been tested and is being sold as a collectible.

The instrument comprises two permanent moving magnet coil instruments mounted in a single bakelite case with a metal CEB label on the exterior of the case.  The inside comprises bakelite knobs which allow the voltage and current scales to be conveniently changed.

Low voltage:  10 ohms per volt ; 7.5, 15, 30 volts

Ammeter 

Two Ranges: 0-5 and 0-0.5 amperes
