1930s Tucker Brass and White Vitreous Toggle Light Switch
This wonderful piece of architectural salvage is an original 1930s Tucker Brass and White Vitreous Toggle Light Switch.
In reasonably good condition with some surface scratches, scuffs and blemishes commensurate with age and use. It has a white porcelain base and brass cover. The brass is discoloured and pitted but I haven't attempted to polish it as some people prefer the vintage patina.

The switch is not up to current IEE regulations. It has not been restored or tested, and is sold as a collector’s item only.
JH Tucker & Co were an Electric Accessories Manufacturers founded in Birmingham in 1892 and acquired by Midland Electric Manufacturing Co (MEM) in the 1960s. See attached a 1920s advert for Tucker switches and accessories in the images.
