A lovely 1930s Royal Doulton Collector's Plate Of Shakespeare's Sir Toby Belch D2495 3-39.
It has a green trim border and muted paint on the Shakespeare Character, Sir Toby Belch. In good condition, with no restoration work, cracks or chips. There is some crazing and slight discolouration.
This series was introduced in 1908 and discontinued by the early 1950’s.

Sir Toby Belch is a character in William Shakespeare’s much loved comedy ‘Twelfth Night.’ Sir Toby is an ill-mannered, slovenly, drunkard whom provides both comedic moments but is also cunning and crude.
