1930s Red Bakelite Lumy Light Extinction Meter In Its Original Box
This is a 1930s Red Bakelite Lumy Light Extinction Meter In Its Original Box. Made in Germany, its units of measure are Scheiner or DIN.
In very good condition, the meter has its original metal scales and instruction label still attached. The box is covered in tape and is scuffed and marked.
You set the Scheiner or DIN required, and then look down into the meter and read off the lowest number you can see with the Lumy facing the subject. Using the centre scale you set for interior, sunshine or shadow and read off the exposure times against the respective apertures
Approximate measurements (Exposure meter case): 4cm (height) x 1.5cm (depth) x 3.5cm (width)
A great little gizmo to use with your vintage camera
