1930s M288 Hornby Meccano 20 Volt Green Bakelite Circuit Breaker

1930s M288 Hornby Meccano 20 Volt Green Bakelite Circuit Breaker was designed for use with a Hornby Electric Railway. The circuit breaker was made by Meccano limited, Liverpool, UK.

It was made to accompany a Hornby O gauge transformer. The circuit breaker automatically cut off the low-voltage current supply if a short circuit occurred.

The circuit breaker is in its original green cardboard box.  It comes with it’s original instructions and guarantee certificate. In good cosmetic condition. Not tested.

The item is made from beautiful Green Bakelite, and is sold as a display item only.  A nice addition to a bakelite collection or for collectors of Meccano or Hornby. A great talking point for the man cave!
