1930s Chrome Parker Wunup Mystic Box Dunhill Cigarette Holder
A 1930s Chrome Parker Wunup Mystic Box Dunhill Cigarette Holder Made From non-ferrous metal with a black bakelite lining box.
It is an unusual patented Art Deco design in that the cigarettes are both placed in and dispensed from underneath the rectangular holder.
In fair condition, there is a crack on the chrome outer case, and a few surface scratches and blemishes. The top of the chrome casing has lifted slightly at one corner. The inner bakelite case is in pretty good condition with a cut out in one wall. Despite the defects the cigarette box displays well. The price has been adjusted to account for the defects.
Made by Parker Pipe Co, Beacon House, 141 Notting Hill Gate, London, W11, and dating to about the 1930s.
Approximate Size: (I believe that the box was originally designed to fit 70mm or 2 3/4" cigarettes).
- Internal Base Width: 7.7cm
- Width: 8.7cm
- Height: 6.2cm
- Depth: 5.6cm
