1930s Bewley Pottery Burnell Pattern Hand Painted Vase

This glorious piece of Art Deco Art Pottery is a 1930s Bewley Pottery Burnell Pattern Hand Painted Vase.

Made by Bailey Potteries Ltd, and sold under their short-lived trade name Bewley Pottery, it dates to 1935-1940.

Backmarked printed with the 1930s Bewley Pottery Vase logo and 575, and impressed 

In excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration, the Greek style ribbed earthenware vase does have manufacturing blemishes including; flow lines, black spots and air bubbles.

The floral design, in the 'Burnell' pattern, is beautifully hand painted and the two decorative handles just shout 'Art Deco!'
