1930s ATEA Pocket Voltmeter Measuring 0-5 Volts and 0-50 Volts in A Brown Leather Case
This WW2 era 1930s ATEA Pocket Voltmeter Measuring 0-5 Volts and 0-50 Volts in A Brown Leather Case is a wonderful little device. It was made by ATEA, Antwerp, Belgium: (founded in 1892-closed in 2003).
The unit has not been tested and is being sold as a collectible; for display only. It is in very good cosmetic condition but with a few scuffs commensurate with age and use. It comes with its original probe. The carry case is scuffed and discoloured, with scrubbed out black writing inside, but is intact.
The pocket Voltmeter, face diameter ~5.2 cm/2", has twin scales and measures:-
0-5 Volts (connector marked 5)
0-50 Volts (connector marked 50)
It has a red bakelite button on the side to zero the readings.
Marked on the front:-
