1930s Art Pottery Greek Urn Floral Vase

This 1930s Art Pottery Greek Urn Floral Vase is a wonderful statement piece: I’ve never seen another! It is probably SylvaC or Beswick/Trentham Art Ware with its typical Deco geometric design, and gloriously embellished with a deeply scored floral display in pink, green and brown. I have been unable to trace the pattern.

Approximate Dimensions

• Height: 27.5cm
• Base Diameter: 10.3cm (4″)
• Top internal diameter: 8cm

Backmarks:
Imprinted 604 or possibly 609, with the remains of a label

Condition:
No chips, cracks or restoration but does have manufacturing defects e.g bubbles and black specks.
