This lovely collectible is a 1925 Igranic F Type Aerial Tuning Variometer For A Crystal Radio. Registered Number 708773.

In good used condition, it looks to have a replacement bakelite knob instead of the regular knob and dial. It would still make a great display item: it has not been tested.

Comprising a heavy duty moulded ebonite outer body in two halves held together by screws and a smaller part-spherical coil on the inside which rotates on a shaft.
