1920s Ediswan White Porcelain British Ceiling Rose
For all collectors of period homewares or Architectural salvage, we have a genuine 1920s Ediswan White Porcelain British Ceiling Rose for a pendant light.

Both the face and the back are ceramic.
It is in very good vintage cosmetic condition, with some crazing in the ceramic. A manufacturing glazing defect is evident where the flex would exit the rose. An early 20th century Ediswan logo is impressed on the back of the rose.
The switch is not up to current IEE regulations. It has not been restored or tested, and is sold as a collector’s item only.
The Edison and Swan Electric Light Company Limitedwas an English manufacturer of incandescent lamp bulbs and other electrical goods. It was formed in 1883 with the name Edison & Swan United Electric Light Companywith the merger of the Swan United Electric Company and the Edison Electric Light Company.
The company used the brand names Ediswan and Mazda, the latter was mainly used for their range of thermionic valves/ vacuum tubes.
Ediswan eventually became part of, perhaps the better known, Siemens.
