1920s Ediswan White Porcelain British Ceiling Rose
For all collectors of period homewares or Architectural salvage, we have a genuine 1920s Ediswan White Porcelain British Ceiling Rose for a pendant light.
Approximate Size:
- Base Diameter: 6.2cm (~2.5")
- Max. Diameter for flex: ~0.7cm
- Depth: 5cm
Both the face and the back are ceramic.
It is in very good vintage cosmetic condition, with some crazing in the ceramic. A manufacturing glazing defect is evident where the flex would exit the rose. An early 20th century Ediswan logo is impressed on the back of the rose.
The switch is not up to current IEE regulations. It has not been restored or tested, and is sold as a collector’s item only.

The Edison and Swan Electric Light Company Limitedwas an English manufacturer of incandescent lamp bulbs and other electrical goods.
