1890s Dudson Brothers Brown Jasperware Hot Water Jug With Pewter Lid
This is a gorgeous 1890s Dudson Brothers Brown Jasperware Hot Water Jug With Pewter Lid and embossed with white Greek figures.
The jug is in very good condition, with no restoration work, cracks or chips.
There is a maker's mark on the pewter lid, which I can't make out, but is probably the famous pewterers and silversmiths, Grayson & Son, who produced lever mounted metal covers for Dudson Brothers.
The Back Mark was one used by Dudson when they were still based in Hanley, Staffordshire, UK.
