1920s Handmade Wood Handled Corkscrew
Some craftsman knew their trade when producing this 1920s Handmade Wood Handled Corkscrew.
The wood has been turned to produce the handle on a lathe. The metal screw has then been drilled in to the wood and soldered in place, with a piece of string in situ to make the corkscrew easier to remove.
A very tactile piece in fair vintage condition: the metal is pitted and discoloured.
A nice addition to an existing collection of corkscrews and bottle openers or breweriana.
