This wonderful looking object is a Vintage Stotz Kz3129 Ceramic Electrical Switch / Circuit Breaker. It dates to approximately 1910-1930 and was Made in Germany by Stotz, now ABB Stotz Kontakt. I have no idea how it what it was used in but it would make a great desk ornament!
The item has not been electrically tested and would not meet current electricity standards and legislation. It is being sold as a collectible only.
In fairly good condition but it is discoloured with blemishes and slight cracks on the side of the porcelain, and a few nibbles on the edges.
The big black bakelite button pushes in with a resounding click and is reset by pushing the smaller black bakelite button next to it.
