Vintage Pizon Bros Translitor Seven 59 MW / LW Transistor Radio

This is a cream white Vintage Pizon Bros Translitor Seven 59 MW / LW Transistor Radio With Stormatic, manufactured in Paris, France in the 1950s by Pizon Brothers: chassis number 768284.

Made from cream leatherette / rexine covered wood, with white plastic grilles and accents, the radio is in pretty good cosmetic condition.

It is being sold as a collectable, for display only, as we have not been able to test it.  It originally used a 9v battery pack which is now obsolete: (the following were recommended; Mazda Cipel 1480 or 0617, Leclanché 6RL or 6NX, Wonder Talma or Tulip). Hence, to get it working again, it would need e.g. converting by someone with electronics expertise to use 9v modern batteries.
